Mind Crafting Academy'nin kurucusu Meltem Yavuz Serçekman, Yeditepe Üniversitesi'nde lisans programını tamamladıktan sonra İstanbul Üniversitesi ve İngiltere Leicester Üniversitesi'nden ayrı ayrı yüksek lisans dereceleri alarak iki yüksek lisans programından da onur derecesi ile mezun olmuştur. Doktora eğitimini Marmara Üniversitesi Yönetim ve Organizasyon anabilim dalında yüksek onur öğrencisi olarak "İş Zanaatkârlığı (Job Crafting)" konusunda Türkçe dilinde yazılan ilk doktora teziyle tamamlamıştır. Leicester Üniversitesi Sinirbilim, Psikoloji ve Davranış Bölümü'nde yazılmış "Mindfulness Temelli Müdahaleler ve Organizasyonlara Yansımaları" konulu yüksek lisans tezi bulmaktadır.
2012-2019 yılları arasında İstanbul Üniversitesi'nde öğretim üyesi olarak çalışmıştır. 2020-2022 yılları arasında Başkent Üniversitesi ve TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi'nde misafir öğretim üyesi olarak lisans ve lisansüstü seviyede dersler vermiştir.
Serçekman, 2021 yılında Yönetim ve Strateji alanında doçent unvanı almıştır.
2022 yılı Mayıs ayı itibariyle İngiltere Brunel Üniversitesi Londra, Brunel İşletme Fakültesi'nde tam zamanlı öğretim üyesi olarak çalışmaktadır.
Meltem Yavuz Serçekman'ın iş psikolojisi, örgütsel davranış ve işletme stratejileri konularında 50'ye yakın ulusal ve uluslararası makale, kitap bölümü ve konferans bildirisi bulunmaktadır.
Akademik çalışmalarının yanı sıra Mind Crafting Academy bünyesinde sunduğu mindfulness temelli eğitim ve danışmanlık faaliyetleriyle, bireylere ve işletmelere katkı sağlamaktadır. Serçekman, paletli yüzme alanında Milli Sporcu Belgesi'ne sahip olup; Dünya Vatandaşı nasıl olunur merakıyla bugüne kadar 21 ülkede 62 şehre seyahatte bulunmuştur.
